service is simple, easy and economical. Unlike
two way satellite service providers, Sleekcom doesn't require contracts.
You purchase the equipment and use the service for as long as you want.
Should you move you take the equipment with you and keep the service you already
have. You can either self-install at your new location or Sleekcom can
arrange for professional installation at your new location.

and equipment packages that work together to provide the fastest most reliable
high speed Internet access to you.
SatNet:
This service is best suited for users that have
multiple computers or notebook computers they want to connect to the Internet
through a network or use a wireless network. It can be used for a single
computer, especially older computers that do not meet the system requirements
for SatExpress service such as machines running Windows 98, or Windows ME or do
not meet the hardware requirements. This service also works perfectly with
Windows Vista Operating System and Mac (Apple) computers that are network ready. Although not required it is
recommended a dedicated phone line be available for SatNet service.
According to AT&T/BellSouth advertised rates an additional phone line can be
added for as little as $19.01 per month or you can select your preferred
carrier. (Sleek Communications, Inc. is not affiliated with AT&T
or BellSouth. Any charges for telephone service, including a dedicated
line, will be the customer's responsibility and billed to the customer by the
service provider. Sleek Communications, Inc. is not be responsible for
telephone service provider's charges including installation, long distance or
local calling charges.)

Warranties
Skywave modem and dish are warranted for a period of ninety (90) days from date of installation. If equipment fails due to manufacturers defect it will be replaced at no charge. Damage to equipment due to wind, hail, lightening, power surge or damaged coax is not covered by warranty. HomeNet equipment is covered by manufacturers warranty. No labor for replacement of HomeNet equipment is included in warranty.
In no case shall Sleek Communications, Inc. warrant or be responsible for any customer owned equipment that may be damaged as a direct or indirect result of SkyWave service, equipment or installation.
System Requirements
Nearly any computer or device with an Ethernet adapter and web enabled browser will work with SkyWave. PC and Mac systems are both compatible with nearly all operating systems including Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows 2000 Pro, Windows XP, Windows Vista and all flavors of Linux. XBox, Wii, Playstations and other web enabled game devices with Ethernet adapters and web browsers are supported.
Reasonable Use Policy (RUP)
Satellite bandwidth (speed) is a premium commodity. As with all satellite Internet services SkyWave uses a Reasonable Use Policy (RUP) to provide the highest quality service to all our customers. In general the average user will not be affected. The RUP is in effect to protect all users from heavy users and avid downloaders that use abnormal amounts of bandwidth. Below is a chart indicating the RUP speed throttling and an explanation of how it works.

Bandwidth usage is calculated on a 5 day rolling period.
For example on Monday you use 20MB of bandwidth, Tuesday 5MB, Wednesday 2MB,
Thursday 10MB and Friday 1MB. Your total 5 day usage is 38MB and you
are not affected by the RUP on Saturday. Beginning Sunday the previous
Monday's usage would drop off and your bandwidth would be totaled for
Tuesday-Saturday and so on.
Terms and Conditions
Service:
You are under no obligation to keep SkyWave service for any specified period of
time (promotions excluded) and may cancel your service upon thrity (30) days
written notice to our business address, no exceptions. No refunds
will be made for any portion of unused service. If at any time the service
becomes unavailable no refund will be made for any unused portion of the
service. Cancellations notices should be received before the end of a
billing cycle.
Payment:
Payment in advance is due by the first day of each month. Service may be
suspended if payment is not received by that time. If service is suspended
a $10.00 reactivation fee will be required to reinstate service. Bills are
sent out on or about the 15th of each month either U.S. Mail or email.
Non-receipt of a bill does not excuse late payment. No late notice or
service suspension notice will be sent. You may place your monthly charges
on automatic credit/debit card withdrawal or auto-check withdrawal from your
checking account. If your account is cancelled due to non-payment by
signing the application you agree to pay reasonable attorney fees, court cost
and other charges associated with collecting any unpaid balance. Unpaid
balances may be reported to credit reporting agencies.
Equipment:
Sleek Communications, Inc. provides for no refunds for equipment under any
circumstances. If other Sleekcom high speed services become available
to you such as DSL or Wireless you may upgrade your account at any time.
In this event Sleekcom may, at our option, take your SkyWave equipment that is
in good working order on consignment for sale to other customers. Any
amounts received from consignment sale of equipment will be credited to your
upgraded Sleekcom service. Sleekcom will not participate in sales of
SkyWave equipment between individuals. If you cancel your Sleekcom
services it will be up to you to dispose of the equipment in any manner you
wish.
